Grandpa and Grandma had season tickets since the original New City Stadium in 1957. They were then passed to my Uncle Jerry and then his son.
In 2002 he indicated that he was having finacial issues and asked if my brother and I were interested in taking them over. Of course, it was a no brainer having always wanting to have season-tickets but never applied and put on the list. At this time the Packers had intiated seat license fee where you hd to pay $1,400 just for the right to purchase game tickets. So my brother and I each bought a seat for the Green Package. This meant we each got half a season of tickets. This was difficult for me as I had two boys who at the time were big Packer fans and always wanted to go to the games.
One day I got a call from my brother, asking if I wanted to buy his seat. Again a no-brainer....yes. Now having a ticket for every Green package home game it was easier to accomodate the boys.Packers Season Tickets
There are two packages for season tickets, the Green and Gold. The Green package is the main package and get the majority of the games. The Gold package (commonly refers to Milwaukee ticket holders as a layover from when the Packers played game at County Stadium in Milwaukee) get 2 regular season games (2nd and 5th games).
